Bidding for the timed online auction

  • There are several ways to bid at our auction house on our auction items:
  • Bid Online: Pre-bidding commences once the catalogue is online (Usually the Wedneday prior).  You can pre-bid by either entering  your maximum bid or bid incrementally.
  • The timed online auction will start to close from 6.30pm Monday night, as stated on the catalogue.   There's a 20 second interval between each lot. The auction will take roughly four hours to conclude.
  • You can still bid up until the lot closes before it moves onto the next lot
  • If it doesn't say 'On the Market', it means there's a reserve for that lot
  • The timed online auction works on mobile  phones, computers and tablets.
  • Absentee bids: Leave a written maximum bid by leaving it with us on viewing day, email or phone.
  • If you are outbid, an email will be sent to you to advise you of that.
  • Note: If you are unsure about how to bid our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.
  • A Buyers Premium of 23% inclusive of GST is added to your bid after the hammer falls, so be sure to factor that into your bidding plan.
